Prolong my participation. Physically active. Injury free.

I have trained with Theresa for the last 2 1/2 years. I am now 63 years old and quite physically active. My primary goal was to prolong my participation in activities such as rock climbing, mountaineering and Tae Kwon Do. Before I started, injuries from cycling accidents made it painful to tighten the laces on my hiking boots. As a result of my training with Theresa, I've been injury free the last 2 years and my capabilities in climbing and Tae Kwon Do have improved.

The first time I trained with Theresa, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I hadn’t spent that much time in a gym over the last few years. I had been a runner and avid hiker for quite some time, preferring cardio over strength-training. When I moved from Los Angeles to New York City, well, running and hiking outdoors was no longer easily accessible year round. I became a member of Daily Burn for a few months, but felt uninspired by the program. I felt like I was in a rut when it came to my fitness, and though weight loss wasn’t a concern for me, I was experiencing back pains, body aches, and fatigue. I may have looked thin, but I was realizing I was physically weak and out of shape.

When Theresa invited me to train with her, I had just gotten engaged, and was excited at the prospect of being physically stronger and more toned by the time my wedding arrived. After all, every bride wants to look their best for the big day, and all the honeymoon photos that follow! Equally important to me, was seeing lasting results and getting physically stronger.

After only one training session with Theresa I had rediscovered a love for fitness that had been missing for so long! She was encouraging, informative, and fun! She pushed me out of my comfort zone while also putting me at ease. She reassured me that I could not only get stronger, but enjoy the process of reclaiming my health.

Fast forward a few short months later, and not only was I the strongest and most physically fit I had ever been in my life, but ever since, I have continued to push myself and grow stronger! My posture has changed and my back pain has disappeared. I have more energy than I did before. Oh, and my body is more tone and firmer in all the best of ways!

I’ve gained confidence in the gym and look forward to trying new exercises and lifting different kinds of weights that Theresa creates with every monthly fitness program. I used to be intimidated by the weights area of the gym. Now, it feels like home! The app is easy to use, and Theresa stays connected to me through messaging and phone calls, checking on my progress, and seeing how I am doing with my current goals.

back into shape after devastating injury. stronger. leaner.

I’ve been training with Theresa for 2 Years. I started working with her to get back into shape after a devastating elbow injury. I also have a previous back injury . Theresa was able to significantly increase my strength and stamina all the while being sure I did not get injured. You don’t need a cheerleader, you need an educated coach that knows how to push you to max effort without getting hurt. Theresa is an intuitive, experienced trainer and coach who will help you achieve your fitness goals if you listen to her. :). I am stronger, leaner with better cardio endurance and much better balance after having worked with Theresa.
